If you FLIRT with the DEVIL… sooner or later… you will get into BED with the DEVIL!

Is it possible? Is it just possible that Mike Johnson, beleaguered Leader of the House, is learning that, if you flirt with the devil, sooner or later, YOU’LL GET INTO BED with the devil? And he’s beginning to change his mind?

I ask this because we have recently seen him reverse his slow-walk aid to fund Ukraine. To the quiet admiration of Democrats and Republicans alike he is learning the joy there is when we do the right thing! When we choose to do the right thing.

Only time will tell if Democrats come to his aid should Marjorie Taylor Green et al push the nuclear button, and try to eject him from his seat.

What is encouraging is that maybe, just maybe, there is a spark of hope, that Johnson isn’t all in with the destructive, disruptive tendencies of his leader, Donald J Trump.

And, for that, we must be thankful.
